FabricationThe Panels will be fabricated using mild steel structural sections duly pressed and shaped. Stiffeners shall be provided wherever necessary & cut-outs shall be true in shape and devoid of sharp edges. Base Frame shall be of 100/75mm x 40/35mm x 6mm channel or 3mm CRCA sheet. Surendra Switchboard's General Technical SpecificationPAINTING Entire sheet metal work will undergo pre-treatment covering degreasing, water rinsing, derusting / phosphating using various tanks installed in Paint Shop. After pre-treatment as described above, the sheet metal is sprayed with POWDER of desired shade. The Epoxy-Powder/Pure Polyester sprayed structure will then be baked in Electrical Fired Oven at 140-150° C for 10-15 minutes. Pre-treated painting shall conform As per IS: 3618. Paint Depth shall be 40/60/80/90 Microns as per project specifics
WIRING inside the switchgear shall be carried out with 1100 / 650 volt grade, PVC insulated, multistranded conductor wire of adequate sizes. Minimum size of conductor for power circuits will be 2.5 Sq.mm copper. Control circuits will be wired with copper conductor of at least 2.5 Sq.mm for CT circuits and 1.5 Sq.mm for other circuits. Wiring shall conform As per IS: 694, 1990.Wire identification As per IS: 375,1963
Cabling provision shall be done for Top/Bottom/Top & Bottom entry as per client''s requirement.
Switchgear shall be provided as per client''s specifications conforming As per IS: 13947 I-IV, 1993.
Control gear shall be provided as per client''s specifications.
Metering like analog /digital shall be provided as per client''s specifications conforming As per IS: 13779
Drawings like General Manufacturing Parameters, General Arrangement drawings, Single Line Diagram, Bill of Material, Schematic diagrams shall be submitted for approval priorto manufacturing.
TESTING, Prior to despatch, the panels will be subjected to Electrical Operation Test, Mechanical Operation Test, Dielectric Test with High Voltage Tester, at 2.5 KV for 1 minute (IS 8623). Insulation Test with 1000V magger. , Continuity Test. Testing & Quality Control conforming As per IS: 8623-1 & II, 1993
Inspection shall be offered at works to client.
